We are TAPE OVER...a Berlin-based tape art crew, founded in the spring of 2011.
Our roots are in Berlin’s sub-cultural electro scene. In fact, we originally started doing
our tape art in the city‘s vibrant electro clubs. This is our creative playground.
Our tape art style includes elements of street art as well as urban art, and is characterized
by its versatility and fine detail. In addition, our art reflects what inspires us most – organic forms,
abstract shapes, plain design, as well as visual st atements. Fundamentally, we love to experiment.
A new creation is always based on passion & cr eativity – this is our under standing of art.
Keeping true to our crew mentality, we like collaborating with other artists…such as
object & installation artists, musicians, visual artists and various creative visionaries.
Out of such collaboration we developed TAPE MAPPING, which is a combination of
tape art and projection mapping.
In addition, we imagined TAPE ON YOU – tailor made body & fashion styling with tape.
It’s a spontaneous interactive creation process in which we use tape to create
individual & extraordinary appearances that match the vibe and style of each person.
To be precise, it’s tape art designed directly onto people’s skin or clothes.

Wir sind TAPE OVER - ein Tape Art Kollektiv, welches sich seit Anfang 2011 der Kunst mit dem Klebeband verschrieben hat.
Gemeinsam leben wir unsere Leidenschaft aus und kreieren Tape Artworks in unterschiedlichsten Kontexten wie bspw.
Murals, Tape Art Installationen, Shop & Location Design, Fotoshootings sowie Live Performances und Workshops.
Unser Tape Art Stil beinhaltet sowohl Elemente aus der Street Art als auch der Urbanen Kunst und zeichnet sich vor allem
durch Vielfalt und Liebe zum Detail aus. Zudem spiegelt unsere Klebeband-Kunst genau das wieder was uns am meisten inspiriert.
Nämlich organische Formen, abstrakte Formen, schlichtes Design mit Ausdruckskraft sowie visuelle Statements.
Unsere Experimentierfreudigkeit ist ein weiteres charakteristisches Merkmal. Daher sind wir immer daran interessiert mit anderen
Künstlern und kreativen Köpfen zu kollaborieren. Resultat einer solchen Zusammenarbeit mit den Visual Artists von ONDÉ
war unser Tape Mapping - eine Kombination aus Tape Art und Video Mapping.
Weiterhin haben wir mit TAPE ON YOU ein Body & Fashion Styling mit Tape erfunden. Dabei handelt es sich um einen
spontanen sowie interaktiven Entstehungsprozess, bei dem wir Klebeband nutzen, um ein persönliches Tape-Styling zu kreieren.
Sprich, wir erschaffen ein individuelles Tape Art Design direkt auf der Haut oder auch der Kleidung der Leute.
Inspiriert durch die Ausstrahlung der jeweiligen Person entsteht so passend zum Typ ein ganz persönliches Styling - mit Klebeband!
