I am a Fine Art Photographer based in St. George, Utah. I specialize in Landscapes, Mystical Creations, and Fine Art Nudes.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Photographic Artist James West has been capturing visions of Mother Nature and its inhabitants for over 20 years. A gulf-war Veteran, West served as a photojournalist in the U.S. Navy for 10 years, capturing feature photographs of military men and women for publication. In the 1990s, he started his own photography business, specializing in weddings, senior portraits, children and family portraits, along with glamour and modeling assignments. At the start of the new millennium, West was chief photographer for three model agency calendars published.
In 2004, West focused his talents on landscape and fantasy photography. "Being in the outdoors and photographing Mother Nature's beauty has brought me comfort and peace and has helped me through some tough personal times," he reveals. "The first time I stepped to the edge of the Grand Canyon I was so overwhelmed with emotion. All my trials in life seemed so minor compared to the majestic beauty I witnessed that day. That revelation changed my direction as both a photographer and a person living in this incredible world."
West's extraordinary images have been showcased in galleries across the United States, and his artistry hangs on the walls of numerous collectors of fine art.
