BM's Artsite (http://www.bertmaurits.nl) is a website over a Dutch painter, Bert Maurits.
This site shows a lot off his artwork, a short biography, CV, some animations and a news page. Further more you can find some interesting videos about the artist and links to other art related websites.
He gets his in inspiration from love and life.
His paintings are somehow diaries from his life and reflect his opinion and vision on the world surrounding him. He keeps his subject (woman and landscapes) close to home.
He is inspired by the expressionist from Germany and the old school Dutch painters like Frans Hals, Vermeer and Rembrandt.
Standing on their shoulders he his trying to make the ultimate masterpiece.
He is still trying but in the meanwhile he makes paintings worth while looking at.
